TAKEN AT СЛЮДЯНКА (РОССИЯ) - SLJUDJANKA (RUSSIA)

True fans call this town Sludldudljanka. This city is the world's only city with a central station of pure marble. The quarry was so close that any other building material would have been more expensive.

TAKEN AT КРУГОБАЙКАЛКА (РОССИЯ) - KRUGOBAIKALKA (RUSSIA)

Pictures are done while we walked the way of the Krugobaikalskii Express because of a very russian train-timetable.

TAKEN AT ПОРТ БАЙКАЛ (РОССИЯ) - PORT BAIKAL (RUSSIA)

Gefräßige Erinnerungskultur.

Port Baikal was the last stop of the Trans-Siberian railroad to Lake Baikal. From here, the trains were loaded on two ferries and ferried across Lake Baikal. A train journey at this time meant a combined train and ship travel. Today there is a continuous railway-line around the southern part of Lake Baikal, so that Port Baikal has lost its historical significance.

TAKEN AT ЛИСТВЯНКА (РОССИЯ) - LISTVYANKA (RUSSIA)

Omul. A very tasty and only here occurring food fish.

Not saying there were no bears on Russian roads.
